Evaluation of
Explosion Hazards
The risk of explosion is not always visible, but its consequences can be serious. At ADIX we help companies identify, assess and reduce the risks associated with explosive atmospheres due to dust or gas, applying a rigorous, practical and adapted approach to each process.
With more than 20 years of experience in sectors such as food, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, recycling or biomass, we carry out evaluations adjusted to the real context of each plant, combining international regulations (ATEX Directives, NFPA and IECEx standards) with field criteria.

What does the explosion risk assessment include?

We identify ignition sources, combustible materials, process conditions, ventilation, and maintenance to establish the actual level of risk in each zone.
We evaluate according to recognized standards such as NFPA 660, NFPA 497, IEC 60079 and ATEX Directives, guaranteeing technical and legal validity in different markets.
We perform DHA testing in accordance with NFPA 660, which is key to compliance in markets where this test is required or recommended.
We document risk scenarios, area classification, level of compliance and recommended preventive measures.
We verify compliance with regulations applicable to facilities, equipment and procedures, proposing concrete, realistic improvements adapted to your operation.
We have worked in installations in Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia. This allows us to tailor each assessment to local regulations, technical language and operational context.
Correctly assessing risk is the first step to avoiding it.
At ADIX we don’t just apply regulations, we understand how industrial processes work, and that makes the difference.
Our reports are not just documents: they are tools to act, prevent and protect.
